We are very lucky to have most of our family living near us. We have lots of aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents just a short drive from our home.
Katy's mom, stepdad, and stepsisters live with their families in Georgia, so big family trips are frequent. There is nothing like a warm southern Christmas at Grandma's with 23 relatives gathered for an old fashioned Polish dinner! Clay's mom lives just over an hour away so our child will always have a grandma nearby to visit and bake cookies with.
Since we are almost the last of our brothers and sisters to have children, we are surrounded by aunts, uncles, and tons of cousins who are very thrilled to welcome a new baby in the family.
